January 19 – 22	Filming opening scene with Renato and Austin. In person at house with Renato. Austin over call.  Filming training scenes with Renato at LA Fitness. Filming running scenes at beach with Renato, early morning during sunrise.
January 27 – 28	Filming boxing scenes (first and last) with Renato, Finn, and Isahiah at The Zoo Health Club.  Filming the press conference at Finn's house.  Filming training scenes with Renato and Isahiah at LA Fitness.
January 29 – February 2	Editing  Clipping all videos together, making flow in a way that makes sense. Syncing the scenes to the music.
February 3 - 4	Refilming  Refilming all scenes we believe we could have done better.
February 5 -	Editing/Final Touches  Major editing changes. Syncing all scenes together and to the music. Masking during the press conference scene. Editing backgrounds and skies to flow transitions perfectly.

Safety Protocols 

For a high school production of a boxing opening scene, we believe implementing practical and achievable safety protocols is essential.  

Use protective gear like padded gloves and, if possible, headgear, to minimize the risk of injury. 

Rehearsals: Practice boxing moves slowly and deliberately, prioritizing control and safety over speed or intensity.  

Responsible adult, knowledgeable in basic first aid, supervising the rehearsals and the actual filming.

Safe Environment: the area should be clear of hazards, 

Regular water breaks: Especially important due to the physical activity required for filming. 

After filming the scene, check on all participants to make sure no one has sustained any injuries.

Seatbelts: When driving between filming locations.
