Editing

Hello it's Renato Corrales back with another blog. Today, I'll be talking about our editing process. We have still yet to film more shots of our shots but could say we are more then half done. So after our filming sessions at the beach and the restaurant, we decided to start editing. Our first task was to sift through all the footage we captured. Conner's drone shots added a new perspective, so we could creative how we pieces it together. We carefully selected the best takes and began piecing together our story. We experimented with transitions, music, and sound effects to enhance the overall mood and tone of the film throguh the use of Adobe. Isahiah's dialogue scenes were particularly challenging to edit, but we worked to find the perfect balance of the background audio and his voice. As we continued editing, we constantly referred back to our storyboard for the film, to have something to indicate our story. Collaboration  was key throughout the editing process, with each one us bringing their unique perspective.. We faced some technical challenges along the way, such as adjusting to the use of the Adobe software, but we’re quickly able to learn. It was really  cool to see our hard work pay off as the film started to partially form. With each edit, the final product seems to be getting better and better. Finally, after countless hours of editing, we reached a point where we were satisfied with the shot so far taken for our film. We did some final tweaks and adjustments before officially wrapping up the editing process. The editing process has been going preety well so far with Adobe and is a huge upgrade from CapCut. With the use of Adobe, the next time we edit it will be with the completion of all shots. However, we will focus more on the insertion of our title sequences and captions throughout the film. This project is still on track to turn our really well.
