Finalizing Filming

 Hello it's Renato Corrales back with another blog. Today's plan was to finalize the last scenes we had to do for filming our movie. We have already filmed some scenes of my character training, a few of me and Finn, and Isahiah and I's dialogue. However, we still needed to get some crucial scenes of all of us together and most importantly in a boxing location. This was an obstacle we had had for a while due to the availability of a boxing location being very limited for us. Our first problem was finding a gym we could all go to. We needed to find a gym that had a boxing ring but that was not very common. After doing some searching we were able to find a gym called "The Zoo" culture club gym that had one. The next problem was filming. We needed to know if we were going to be able to be allowed and whether we could all go, due to The Zoo being a private gym. This was our plan since the beginning but could not move any forward since we needed to either pay to the gym, or find a way in there without having to pay a full membership just filming a few hours. Fortunately, we were able to find a friend, Alyssa, that had access to the gym. Since Alyssa, her brother and two parents both go The Zoo, Alyssa being so generous allowed all 4 members of our group to be able to use a pass to enter the gym. Once this problem was solved, we quickly got to shooting at the gym, with not having the largest time frame. We all brought our props and costumes for certain scene. Finn and I brought out boxing clothes and gloves for our characters. Isahiah brought headgear and equipment to appear as a trainer, and Conner brought all his equipment needed to get the best filming his camera, microphones and more. Shooting the scenes were very efficient since we had everything planned for weeks now. We started with doing the scenes including Finn and I, such as Finn knocking me out, Finn and I meeting in the center for our rematch and in our corners. We did shots with just Finn as well to have the scenes of him training, and filmed a few with me and Isahiah to show our training together as boxer and coach. The scenes were all shot in the matter of less than 3 hours and we got plenty of footage. With that done, they're could be a shots to refilm or want to add, but the main chunks of our story is complete and filming is done.
